2021 Hike for the Homeless

This past weekend, Brown Community Management participated in the St. Joseph the Worker 2021 Hike for the Homeless. St. Joseph the Worker is an amazing organization that transforms lives through employment by opening up doors to job opportunities and empowering long-term success and stability. Funds raised by this year’s hike will provide transportation, interview attire, basic hand tools for tradesmen, and a full range of employment services to many individuals in need in our community.

Nearly 500 hikers across multiple states were registered for this year’s event. Held virtually, all groups were able to choose where they wanted to hike – for BCM, Silly Mountain really peaked our interest. While taking part in SJW’s Adventure Hunt, we took advantage of Silly Mountain Park’s fun name by sporting a few silly accessories. A troll and gnome also accompanied our group, and this not at all prickly pair even earned us the Coolest Team Mascot award from SJW! A big thank you to our employees and their families, as well as Az Spruce Up, for participating. To summit all up, we had a blast!
